Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat

July 23 - 29

All performances begin at 8:15pm

A generational favorite of many musical colors!

Children of all ages know the Old Testament story of Jacob, his twelve sons, and the amazing adventures of his 11th son, Joseph. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice originally wrote a children's oratorio that has, in time, expanded into a beloved classic. This production will be the first at The Muny to use the orchestrations and changes that were developed for the highly successful West End production in London.

Justin Guarini returns to The Muny to play Joseph, after his critically-acclaimed performance in Chicago. Joining him will be Broadway sensation Mamie Parris as the Narrator. TV and stage veteran Austin Miller will rock the house as Pharoah.

All performances begin at 8:15pm and end at approximately 10:15pm.

Justin Guarini To Star At The Muny

Broadway sensation and recording artist Justin Guarini will captivate St. Louis audiences when he stars in The Muny's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, July 23 - 29. This will be Justin's Muny debut.

"I'm thrilled to be playing the role of Joseph," commented Justin. "Being able to do it in front of 11,000 people every night, outside and under the stars, is truly magical. I'm honored to be part of the history and tradition of The Muny."

Muny Executive Producer Mike Isaacson stated, "When I saw Justin in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown on Broadway, I knew I wanted to bring him to the Muny stage. I'm so excited to bring his talent, energy and magnetism to Joseph. People may know Justin only as a recording artist, but after seeing him on the Muny stage, they will see why he is an up-and-coming Broadway star."
