June 7, 1926

Future Hollywood star Irene Dunne was opening in the second show of the Muny season as its resident soprano. The Red Mill was the operetta of the week.

Also in the cast, listed as a member of the “The Holland Kiddies-Boy and Girls” was Betty Grable. A native St. Louisan, Betty Grable would have been 10-years old that summer.
